CM-200→Eyeglass Frames
The CM-200 is specially designed for the screw fastening process at the hinge joints of eyeglass frames. Traditionally, this process required manual operation due to the small screw size and irregular frame structure, often leading to issues such as misaligned screws, over-tightening, or frame scratches, which affected quality consistency.
By integrating a dual-axis screwdriving mechanism with an automatic index table and gripper system, the CM-200 enables precise positioning and simultaneous fastening of dual screws. This significantly reduces cycle time per unit while minimizing operator skill dependency—making it ideal for high-volume eyeglass frame production lines.
This system has been successfully implemented by OEM factories and private label eyeglass brands, helping them optimize manpower allocation, increase production efficiency, and achieve consistent product quality with a high yield and low defect rate.
The CM-200 features a rotary index table with a four-station cyclic design, paired with a plastic-steel gripper mechanism to automate the fastening and unloading processes. The operational sequence is as follows:
1. Station 1 (Loading Station): An empty fixture faces the operator. The eyeglass frame is manually placed into the fixture. Pressing the start button rotates the index table 90° counterclockwise.
2. Station 2 (Pre-Fastening Station): The frame is staged and positioned for screwdriving.
3. Station 3 (Screw Fastening Station): Dual-axis screwdrivers perform the fastening process. Simultaneously, a new empty fixture arrives at Station 1 for the next loading.
4. Station 4 (Unloading Station): A plastic-steel gripper picks up the completed frame and moves it to the unloading area.
5. The system then cycles back to Station 1, creating a continuous four-station loop.
This design enables a simple and efficient semi-automatic process. The operator only needs to load the frame and press the button to initiate the cycle, while the system handles positioning, fastening, and unloading—greatly reducing labor requirements and improving production rhythm.
